Parry Sound McDonald’s
Raises $8,692 for Local Health Care!

Thanks to the generosity of our community and the commitment of local leadership, McHappy Day 2025 was a resounding success at the Parry Sound McDonald’s raising a total of $8,692 in support of local health care.

This total includes $3,692 raised on McHappy Day itself, with an additional $5,000 annual pledge generously committed by Beel Yaqub, Franchisee of McDonald’s Parry Sound, to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation.

“We’re deeply grateful to Beel and the entire McDonald’s team for their continued commitment to families in our region” said Deborah Loosemore, CEO of the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation.

“This kind of community support ensures we can continue providing compassionate, high-quality care right here at home.”

McHappy Day 2025 brought together customers, crew members, and special guests including representatives from the Ontario Provincial Police, Huntsville Fire Department, local government, and WPSHC staff to serve smiles and raise awareness throughout the day.

“Our community’s health matters, and we’re proud to give back in a meaningful way,”

It’s our pleasure to support the Foundation’s work not just on McHappy Day, but throughout the year.”

said Beel Yaqub.

To everyone who contributed, volunteered, and cheered us on thank you. Every dollar makes a difference for families who need care, comfort, and connection during life’s most challenging moments.
