The Classic Boat Tour & Auction is more than a day on the lake. Proceeds from the auction support the expansion of services at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, providing care for residents and cottagers. Organized by members of the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation and  Northern Angel Council, the event reflects the spirit of generosity and a shared commitment to advancing health care for the region.

exclusive celebration at a private cottage on Lake Joseph.

Your hosts will welcome you to their cottage getaway on Lake Joseph, a stunning location to appreciate the ambience and culture of lakeside life.

Catered by Trestle Brewery, you'll enjoy entertainment by Canadian singer Michele Mele, backed by some of the country’s best musicians.

Jessica Vergeer, a contemporary Canadian landscape artist based in Parry Sound, will create a painting in real time and you will have an opportunity to add your own stroke of creativity to her art, as you look out over the lake in fullsummer glory. 


The Classic Boat Tour & Auction Experience: Saturday July 25th.

Auction winners enjoy an exclusive minimum one-hour cruise aboard privately owned classic boat on Lake Joseph or Lake Rosseau. Hosted by passionate owners, each tour offers an intimate look at the craftsmanship, heritage, and stories behind these iconic vessels, set against the tranquil beauty of these lakes.












Virginia Rose
The Viking was considered the flagship model of Ditchburn Pleasure Boats Ltd, a prominent Canadian boat-builder in the early part of the twentieth century. The Viking was marketed as a ‘Gentleman’s Runabout, the fastest boat of its class ever built.’ The Clarion replica captures the spirit and experience of the original design.

Whirlaway II
The Clarion Gold Cup Racer has been called the Gentleman’s Racer. The original design came out of the Ditchburn Boats shop in Gravenhurst in the 1920s, and this modern version was built by hand, using time-honoured techniques and attention to detail. The result is a superb combination of grace, style, and speed.

Gwembe
This 26-foot Minett Shields was built in 1927, and spent some years on Lake Temagami before being brought home to Muskoka. Purchased by the current owner and relocated to Lake Joseph it is named after the Gwembe Valley in Zambia. Your 90-minute cruise for up to four people will give you a memorable taste of the luxury and refinement for which these boats are known.
