We are helping to raise funds for my local hospital!
Zita is very excited to participate in this year’s Walk, Run, Pole event and she has asked me go in the event with her.
Zita (our standard poodle) is doing this in honour of her brother Blitz ( also a standard poodle from another mother) who drowned on April 15 and to thank the West Parry Sound Health Centre who treated me in the ER for hypothermia after I tried to rescue Blitz. Both Blitz and Zita were adopted from SPIN (Standard Poodles In Need), a poodle rescue organization.
We will participate in the 5 km walk on Sunday June 7 to help raise money for this $2.5 million investment to expand surgical services and support advanced surgical equipment and technology at the West Parry Sound Health Centre.
