I’m moving my body for a healthy community!
I’m excited to participate in this year’s Your Health Your Way event.
As you may know, 2024 is a significant birthday year for me. As a way to celebrate and compel me to increase the amount of physical activity I do each day, I am participating in this event to help raise funds to update Bone Mineral Density Testing equipment at the West Parry Sound Health Centre.
For the last four years, I have worked at WPSHC and it has shown me just how vital this health facility is to the District of Parry Sound and its residents - both permanent and seasonal. Every test and exam that can be provided locally decreases the time, expense, and stress associated with travel to other health facilities and ensures continued employment and economic contributions to our community.
I know that each of you contributes to your charities of choice but I ask that you consider an additional donation this year to support this important health initiative and help me to remain sufficiently fit to perhaps reach another significant milestone in another 25 years.
